The Partners Component was developed around 2 years ago to Mambo, for many time we didn't worked anymore on them but we saw that some websites still continue to use it so we've made some fixes and made it available again. This package installs the component and the module and in case it detects Mambelfish or JoomFish it installs the XML file.

at my website this component works.
for people who have still problems:

if you enter the link in the field:
DO NOT PUT HTTP:// BEFORE! JUST START WITH THE LINK

EXAMPLE: www.mysite.com ..

If you do http:// before you will get a 404-error!

Generally good however I have an issue with re-ordering items - it just doesn't want to do it *sigh*

I then went and tried to find some support on the projects homepage but there was nothing :(

Looks like there are a couple of bugs but good component overall

...I too was looking for something like this and sure enough I found it on the first page(what do you know) But as the person above says, it has a bug. Mine works except that it takes me to a 404 page because it's either Joomla or the component is at fault or I don't know, but the link-age needs some fixin. I manage to still use it, but doing it manually, it post click counts that is the reason why I am still using it.

Other than that it is a great component, simple and easy to use in the admin area.

this component is exactly what i was looking for. but the moduble seems not to work, nothing appear on the page .. is it me or a common bug?
thanks to the creator anyway!!
