 This module will pop up a configurable DHTML Box containing any Joomla content when people visit your web. So you can use this module as announcement or advertisement purpose effectively.

I installed this module but must say i was dissapointed. The problem is that the popup window comes in behind my other modules and aspecially those with flash in them. Is there an easy and quick way to correct this? |

This is a great little addition to your web site!
I use it to advertise important news. I agree it would be good to add more than one news item though.

The content tends to want to slide in UNDER my flash elements. Otherwise an excellent module. I'm sure some tweaking will get it working properly. |

One of the best free component to have on your joomla website. This is a must have even if you have no use for this right now, but you will later on. This has alot of usefullness. |

this is a great module but [there's always a but], like webfritz & yosika, i have discovered that stoppress interferes with other modules and stops them working or vice versa. ergo, i have had to switch off stoppress.
i think the problem lies in the javascript.
i have messed about with the script, div & javascript in stoppress to try and cure it without success [eg the script calls for a 'box' which is conflicting with another mod asking for a box.
I think the cure is to write a separate javascript file specifically for stoppress ? |

What an excellent module this is.
If the repeat mode had more options other than the default one hour it would make this module the dogs doodahs.

Ooops, I kew the older version which had no control of activity and it popped up at any click. Now this is fixed and it works very, very awesome. A great code snippet.
But, if you are using LightThumb iy will have to unpublish StopPress again. Both active will stop Lightthumb. I assume, there is a java code conflict? If anybody knows, I would be very happy. I waited so long for the StoppPresse Fix here and then there's a second problem. |

I think the transparency and color settings are almost always expected but could do with an option to disable the animated bounce effect. This mod works on my sites as by design. Great idea! |

It took me a while before I realized that I needed the content ID# of the text I wanted to appear in the window but when I added it it worked like a charm!
I only ran into one oddity. On Firefox 1.5.0.3 For Macintosh OSX the StopPressContent box appeared just fine.... Because my text was longer than the box there was a scrollbar, no problem, but when I closed the window the scrollbar stayed! I'm not sure if otheres have experienced this... I fixed it by making my window longer. |

I've tested and it worked great, however.... it requires hack for the following:
1. GoogleMap API 2.3 (GoogleMap can not load when the module is activated)
2. Splitmenu on RT_Fire Template (RocketTheme) (Split menu stop responding)
Otherwise it is a great module that is refined version from original "ContentAnywhere" module. |

Shows once or every time a page is loaded. And most things seems to be configurable. Like it very much so far.
