Very nice extension; does exactly what it says; looks nice; easy to install.
Install by doing Admin > Extensions > Install/Uninstall, browse for the downloaded zip file, then click Upload File & Install. Then go Admin > Extensions > Module Manager, click on the Simpsons entry, and edit as necessary - be sure to Enable.
It's quite easy to modify this for any quotes and pictures you want ...
Steps:
- Unzip the original downloaded file.
- Edit quotes.txt - format is obvious.
- Each image file must be named as a lower case version of the quoted person's name. E.g.: "John Smith" needs an image file called "john smith.gif"
- Edit mod_simpsonsv2_15.xml, changing the list of image files to match your own.
