Looking for a simple way to add something random to your site? Random Quotes - Testimonials - Image/banner links - Image/text links. Random ... can be duplicated with different names (very simply) to enable you to have different quotes, images or testimonials in different sections or categories of your site. This Module is deceptively simple and doesn't try to be an all "bells and whistles" or "singing and dancing" module.

Simple but great by gnottage, December 7, 2007

I wanted to find a straightforward random quote module for 1.5, and this works flawlessly. Because it's older it's simpler, and that means easier to customise if you know some PHP. It may not be flashy, but it does what it says.

I am using this module to do affilite banner rotation.

Stick all the scripts for the banners into the text file all on one line

have the module directed towards the banner position, and bobs your uncle, a superb bit of work. When you visit a new page a new random banner appears, all done with one module rather then having to have load of content pages.
