A WYSIWYG editor for Joomla! based on Moxiecode's TinyMCE.

Includes advanced Image/Media and File handling, plugin support, and an Administration interface for editor configuration.

NOTE: Version 1.5.0 beta 2 is a public beta.

Installation:

Install the Admin Component first, then the Editor Mambot, and then download and install your choice of plugins using the Plugin Manager in the Admin component. Uninstalling the Admin component or editor mambot will require a reinstallation of all plugins for JCE.

I installed this while I still had mosCE 1.0.3 installed. It doesn't seem to offer the same level of functionality so I went back to mosCE only to find out it was now giving errors when I use the link button. So now I'm stuck with two editors that aren't functioning at the level I need.

I find this is an excellent extension. 5 Stars.
The only problem is, that the Safemode patch doesn´t work with the plugin installer, that means if you have safe mode restriction, you must install all plugins manually.
Therefore, it would be fine if there were a complete edition with th most important plugins / image manager etc.

Best editor ever. All the features of Joomla (component installing, plugin installing and managing, huge number of options) and TinyMCE (muliplatform and useful) are collated in this editor.
Easy managing and powerful editor!
