Your AJAX Recommend works perfectly.

It's a super add-on, and in my opinion, an absolutely essential component for any Joomla website! Why would anyone not want to ask visitors to refer their website to others? And this incredible value Component fits the bill perfectly.

I was looking for an easy and nice script for visitors to recommend my page to others. Found this script and it works very well. Worth the small cost! I use it with swedish characters...no problems.

I have been looking for a module like this for some time now.
This one looked promising but didn't work due to the fact that it's encoded. It requires IONCUBE be installed and where I host it's not.

The readme file which I discovered later on said you can might be able to upload the ion folder to the root directory. This failed to work for me also.

A few emails sent in to see if there were any other ways to fix my problems resulted in no response. For a paid product I would at least like to get some support. I lost more in time trying to get it to work than the product itself.

Glad it worked for some people, just didn't work for me. Just make sure you have IONCUBE installed first and read the readme.

Nice module. Only have problems with HTML emails (but this was solved rather quickly).

The one reason why I don't recommend this extension is the lengthy code that gets added to your page. The page size almost doubled here because of this component. It seems to me that that is a little overkill for a recommend component.

But still a nice example of the use of Ajax !

The static JavaScript code has been moved in a separate js file now which reduces the lengthy code included.

Nice little module, does what it is supposed to be ... almost. The html email is all messed up. In order for it to work you must tell it *not* to send html email or it will send email as text unclickable. And the email that is clickable displays the break tags.

It also has some ioncube annoyances over that 5 pounds price tag. The author did not provide for module suffix, so you are stuck with one design. Not to mention that you cannot put some code in it to use with joomfish and $mosConfig_lang. So you end up translating only the module title.
