 Basic guestbook component for Joomla!. It allows you to set up a guestbook area on your site for registered users or for all your visitors. It's protected against spam using CAPTCHA, Spoof protection and a few other ways to prevent spam on your guestbook.
Runs natively on Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5

Nice clean Guestbook. I think this is the best Guestbook extension that is available. Simple, I like it. After some tuning it fits my website completely. I have posted time now shown on the top of each message.
One Slight Request - In the next revision, would it be possible to allow back-end control of whether or not a poster's e-mail address is shown?
And I am looking forward to have BBcode plugged in my Guestbook. |

i has all that i need,
or almost all
i missing the language file so i can translate it into my language,
and the capcha glad it can be disabled . i always have so hard to read the capcha images,
hope there wiil come some images that only is hard for bots to read. :)
esyy to inastall and great idea with logging IP
i also woud be nice if the user coud draw or add small image in the guestbook

An amazing component and a valued addition to my site. If I had more experience on Joomla! I would've had my guestbook set up in 1 minute! Instead it took me 2...

Have used this for a few joomla-sites, and it just does the work. Easy to install, just enough parametres in admin, and bullet-proof "motor". It fits easy in the templates I have used. Cant see what who could be better. Warmly recommended! |

Installation is easy, but the submitbutton doesn't work in Joomla 1.0.12 (tested with IE6 and Ff 2.0) Owner's reply: Seems to work fine on the demo server.
Must be something in your template.

I looked at the other gbooks and reviews and decided on this one first. Glad I did, I had it installed and running in less than 3 minutes and it works great. Very simple but effective. |
