 This is a very easy module that let's you have the weather of all the regions available from MSNBC Weather. Just go to MSNBC Weather, get the code of your town (even very little towns are available) and add it in the administration all the towns you want separated with a comma. This module comes along with 3 small towns in a small country as example. New version changes: * only shows current temperature no matter what MSNBC gives - no more "random" effect * Cities names can be changed by user - no need to not have your town name if only the nearest one is in MSNBC Weather, or, if you want the town name in your own language.
CORRECTED: MSNBC website changed, so this version corrects the previous versions that stopped working correctly when grabbing information. At the same time data is more accurate than ever ;)
PROBLEMS: Some servers don't allow you to use file_get_contents() or access external data, so for those this module won't work.
TIPS: If you want you can change the link that accesses the MSNBC server http://weather.msn.com for a Spanish written one http://clima.msn.com that the module will still work (thanx the tip from Matias Chamullo )
NOTE: Temporarely we will have the file in our own domain, since Joomla Forge was dropped to another system and we still haven't been able to have it working in the new system.

The module works perfectly! International weather module without any commercials or crap.
I had a problem with my installation and asked for help. I got an answer hours later. The error was because of a mistake in my Joomla configuration.php-file. Great guys! |

I like it displayed on my site. But there's something wrong with this module. The weather condition and temperature show false local condition. most likely this module show the "haze" image or moon/night image whereas users access my web in the day/afternoon. |

This is a great module. It's simple to setup and looks great, a no nonsense weather display.
The only problem I've got is that it adds a noticable delay to page load times, presumably as it fetches all the weather details. A cache would fix this nicely (not sure how complex this would be to code) but it may not be such a big problem if you have only one or two locations - I have 10 listed.
Overall thumbs up though. |

Nice, easy install and it works quite well, BUT: opnly with 8-digit cities. When entering a city with 7 digits, it won't work (perhaps something for the future). Otherwise: a neat, small and cool module! |

Great module by Joao, but well, it randomizes values in each site refresh, and well, in MSNBC weather website the values for same cities are different... Hope Joao can handle this and make this the best weather module |
