RokTextile is a Joomla! content mambot that provides Textile functionality for content. RokTextile uses TextilePHP by Jim Riggs of jimandlissa.com which in turn is a PHP implementation of the Textile shorthand syntax. Textile is used to create valid (X)HTML output without using HTML markup. It was originally developed by Dean Allen of textism.com, and several different versions (in several different programming languages) have been created.

Needs Virtuemart Support by marlfoskr, August 18, 2006

I love this plugin. It works great, outputs semantic code, and the syntax is a breeze to write. I just wish it would work when writing up virtuemart products. The WYSIWYG landscape of joomla is pretty bleak, and this is a promising alternative.

Thanks Ruhk for a wonderful plugin, hope it continues developement.
