 EventList is just that what the name would lead you to expect. It's not a calendar but an easy way to manage and present your Events for your group, company or community. EventList offers a lot features and possibilities which makes your work easier, like the Venue database, Picture resizing and much more. But also for your site visitors EventList has some additional features to offer, like a simple registration system, map service links, or the submission of new events and venues from the frontend as well as frontend editing. Additional modules are available.

This extension is awesome.It installs easily and I have yet to run into any major bugs. Since I am using J 1.5 I was having a difficult time finding an extension for events that fit my needs. This is perfect. The only thing that it needs is a payment gateway. I am sure that is coming soon. Great job! |

* uses CB userlist and avatar
* google maps API integration
* members can register for an event with a single click
* many options for customizing the front end display
* easily manage (edit, add new) events from the front end

Thank you for an excellent addon for Joomla 1.5.1.
My task is to build a website for my club and gallery. This is my first foray into Joomla website building and it has been a case of trial and error with a lot of add-ons; to find something with easy installation, setup and management has been a nice suprise!
Working nicely with EventList is two other addons 'EventList Latest Events' and 'EventListQ Calendar module' for my frontpage. I will definitely be keeping a watch for updated versions! |

Slick, clean UI; easy to use. Several different ways to slice-and-dice your event data. And it seems to handle recurring events like a champ.
However, as someone else mentioned, while the component does provide a front-end interface for **creating** events, it doesn't provide one for modifying or deleting them. That is, a site user can create a new event via the front end, but if a change has to be made, someone with back-end access has to do it.
Otherwise I would have given it an "excellent" rating. |

I am testing this component for my Company (we sell Training Courses).
EventList is nearly perfect for what we need. You can rename its fields to anything you like.
I still needs the possibility of adding custom fields (which is planned) but I was able to hack it a bit for my purposes.
It works in Joomla1.5 native out of the box.
Don't forget it's still (April 2008) in Alpha Stage...
Registration could be improved (and I think it will). Users can register to events after logging in, but a registration form will be really needed |

Nice event tool, works fine and easy. If you are looking for a eventlist that makes it possible that you visitor can register (paid or not), this component is not the best solution! It is great in providing a overview of the events, it is nog so great for registrations. |

This component is outstanding. Though there are a few bugs with the current 0.9 Alpha version (after all, it is alpha), the workflow and options -- both in the backend and frontend, are impressive. I was very excited to run across it and set it up. Met my needs perfectly. |

Nice component.But some features are missing .The user can book the events .But there doesn't have an option to integrate payment option like paypal for booking an event.Hei anybody has a solution for that? Excluding that the new componet works good. |
