In many case, you can hide HTTP referer from your page or increase search engine indexed page (if you want). Include an admin interface to monitor last hits time and how many hits per links.  1.0.10 has just been released, including Many minor (and a few major) bug fixes... If you are using Joomla 1.0.14 or newer, you MUST upgrade to 1.0.10 for the login and other forms to work...
Well, this component WILL lower page load times for guest users. It will not effect page load times for logged in users in any way. Expect to see a VAST performance gain in busy sites (I have a site running with it that averaged 5 times as many hits before taking the server down).
For the BEST performance, I recommend php5.

 etRating is a simple mambot that allows the editors to add a simple, immutable rating to an article or a content item. Unlike other rating systems, this is not meant to allow user feedback, but only allow rating by the editors for a content like a movie, etc.
For example, adding a 3-star rating is as simple as:
{etRating 3}
and the plugin will automatically display the graphical version of the rating.
Decimal point ratings are allowed and displayed as well (e.g.: 3.5). The range of ratings is from 0 to 5. |
