Xmap
 Works Great!, March 28, 2008

Xmap This component works great on 1.0.X and 1.5 in Legacy mode.

I'm using this on at least 4 sites right now and many more in the future.

Webhosting Component
This component is awesome, December 11, 2007

I've been using this component for quite awhile now. I'm actually still running 1.0.1 and it works perfectly. I'm about to upgrade to the latest version 1.1 RC4 to take advantage of the new paypal features. Many thanks to Jonas Brand for his hard work!

Letterman Newsletter Component
 Good Component...BUT, September 24, 2007
5 of 5 people find this review helpful:

Letterman Newsletter Component Letterman in my experience is way more stable than AcaJoom (the free version) or any other free newsletter component. But it has one major drawback...the project appears to be dead.

Expect to get no support. The forums on the developers website are overrun with spammers so you can hardly look through them to find answers.

If you don't need all the bells and whistles and don't mind the project being dead then it's still a great component. I use it one two sites that I run, one sending out to 450+ and the other is in the works but it will be up to 2000 within a year.

EnduranceLog
 Awesome!, August 15, 2007

EnduranceLog I haven't fully tested this component out yet but this is exactly what the site I'm setting up needs.

I was just looking through components randomly and came across this. I didn't know something like this existed. I look forward to see this component progress and get better and better.

Google Analytics Tracking Module
 Works good, July 10, 2007

This is a easy to use module.

Some say put it in the Debug module position but if you have Debug disabled in your Global config it won't work (in my experience with RocketTheme Themes).

I just put it in a position that is at the bottom of the page such as footer or the last user module. Just look at your site preview in-line with positions and pick the best one for you.

MicroShop PayPal Shopping Cart
 Bleh..., June 27, 2007

MicroShop PayPal Shopping Cart Like the others have stated I thought this would be perfect for what I need... Nope...

It looks like this was made for WordPress or something and was poorly bridged over to Joomla. No backend admin, you have to enter admin password and database password in frontend with an unsecured connection to even set it up.

Error handling is non-existent. I entered a product and put "$14" for the price. Gave me a mySQL error because I put a dollar sign in the price.

I would not recommend this to anyone for any type of use.

Jx Random Quote
Needs more development, November 3, 2006
0 of 1 people find this review helpful:

This would be a great module but it need more development. As of right now there is no way to input quotes (write to the quote file) from the backend or frontend of Joomla. That would be the main feature that would make this go from an 'ok' module to a great one.

I would rather see the module be have a MySQL backbone rather than a flat file though.

 Just what I needed, August 21, 2006
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

This Component is just what I needed. My client asked me if we could create a 'signup' form for projects and activities. This works great. I have it set to where anybody can fill out a form with their name and contact info and it gets emailed to my client and she can take further action from there.

I haven't found any bugs yet...But I have just started using this. I have two forms with 5 items each.
