Just want to say this is just what I needed. After installing I had to tweak a little, but that goes very easy. Now using in practice and it's working great for me. Top component!

Works very good! Through the IP of my BBClone counter I saw a notorious visitor from Ukraine. That visitor was visiting my site for more than 283 hours without any reason. Then I came to this component, installed it, and blocked his IP. So far it works! A truly great component!

It's hard to see how to get it work, but it's also necessary in order to make it work to download the component AND the bot! Look in the Download of the Homepage.

Besides that, Walter Cedric is working on a more opensource version of AkoComment, which is called OpenComment. Looks promising!

I love this component! This is the hardcore component for my alumni-site. And there'a an active community for this component as well, so lot of help available. There are still some whishes, but these are of minor concerns. I've all the trust it will be come better by every new release.
