I was amazed to see that application GUI does not support UTF8 text, its just one small setting changing font type, but obviously this mistake makes this product to be unusable for users that have categories in none english text.

obviously this mambot does not support UTF-8 text isnide flash file, flash file does not even use UTF-8 type font but uses verdana,
also I have observed that if you try to pas 3byte stream to flash it gets extremly slow and there were occassions that it completly crashed the browser with slow flash script warning message.
COnclusion - if you dont want to use UTf-8 text this is decent product,otherwise it does not work with UTF-8. player is still a little bit big in size, its about 22 KB only the player .

so far from xe-media V1 products this is I think most decent one ,BUT thats because I don't need all of its features like, member upload etc , otherwise beware for following :
it will not work if you have SMF forum bridge.
it has funky file naming convention, no spaces, no special characters ...
it requires globals On to support member upload etc ..
so to sum up, flash part is great, but php code is very poorly written.

This is the best and fastest editor I have seen, both tinyMCE and JCE are extremly slow compared to this editor, I am also not sure why editors are not picking this as the choice, definately nice.

extension is superior but it has BIG drawbacks :
it conflicts with SMF bridge,
it requires to have Globals or emulated Globals on,
and it has picky requirements about file name,
vendor support is pretty bad and rude.
otherwise product is very nice and good addition to any site ,

menu does not seems to be working in IE7 correctly, needs a little bit tweaking, probably they are already working on it .

excellent component and their support is just superior, and support matters most nowadays :) very thankful
