Mass Content
I install this on every new site I start, December 19, 2007

Mass Content Johann has done every Joomla administrator in creating this component. It is very simple to use, and is a huge click saver when developing a new Joomla site. This makes quick work of deleting the sample content, quickly creating my sections and categories, and then making "placeholder" articles and menu items for me (or others) to fill in later.

You type the article title and the intro text of the article, or it can fill in all of the intro texts with the same thing (I use "This great article is coming soon!").

It will also make a menu link to the articles (or category blogs or tables) for you if you wish.

It just works, and works very well for me, and has become part of my basic Joomla install.

DB Admin - Set Table Prefix
Simple, Easy, and it just works, November 23, 2006

DB Admin - Set Table Prefix This module works exactly as described. If you want (for whatever reason) to change your table prefixes, this little component does it simply and easily.

It changes the prefixes in the MySQL database (you can do it via MySQLAdmin, but this is much easier and quicker), and it change the prefix in the configuration of your Joomla site.

Recommended. Thanks David!
