WikiBot
 Very nice..., December 1, 2006

WikiBot This is a superb tool. I've been looking for a simple way to show term definitions without having to duplicate dictionary entries. The only thing I have a problem with is that the preview screen of the included wysiwyg editor does not show these links as they will appear in the "frontside view." I was scrambling around for a while trying to find documentation because I thought that I was entering the links wrong. A minor problem. The ability to point at our own wiki docs would put the icing on this bot. But, then again, maybe it's there and I can't find the docs on how to do it! ;)

Mehdi's Phpbb bridge
 Nice component, November 24, 2006

I had an existing phpBB database from a non-Joomla installation and I wanted to keep all of my users and entries. This bridge has allowed me to do this with ease. The only difficulty I had was making sure that all of my domain references matched justawakening.com instead of www.justawakening.com. After that and forcing all users to use the one modified template I was back up and running. Very nice. The only pain is that I wanted to give users the ability to use any of the phpbb templates. Also, since so many files have been modified or replaced upgrading either phpbb or Joomla looks like it may be a problem.
