EventList
The best for events, October 5, 2008

EventList An awsome component. The roadmap promises even more good stuff to come.

Check out schlu.net and than imagine he puts the same care in the component as he does in the design of his website. An amazing job.

Inline Products for Virtuemart
 Site destroyed, August 18, 2007

Inline Products for Virtuemart After installing the mambot my starting page was destroyed... joomla 1.0.12 vm 1.0.12.

The rest of the site seems to work though.
And don't come with the excuses that the template is not correct. Any other mambot module or component works fantastic.

how on earth?, February 11, 2007

gigCalendar how can this buggy piece of coding be an editors pick?
Except from the fact that the component doesn't work normal before you spend 2 weeks on fixing it, you should try checking the demo on their website. IT'S NOT WORKING EITHER!
Thank you for making my point!

An editors pick should be a perfect compatible piece of coding for joomla. They made a bad xml, they zipped it wrong and it has php 5 troubles.

It's a discrase for the editors pick list

JCE
 NOT FREE, December 4, 2006

JCE The auto resize of images is not good, it's full of bugs as you can see on their forum,. To get the image resize to work normal and automatically, you will have to pay around 20 dollars to get the SE version of their editor. Updating the editor also means uninstalling all and installing everything again.

Due to the incredible poor competition of good editors this one still is the best out there. Beats a lot of payed versions.
But, don't think that it will solve all your problems
