QuiXplorer for Joomla! 1.5
It works... and installs, May 7, 2008
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

Not only does it work but it installs. I have tried and tried to install eXtplorer but without any luck. I was afraid that I would have to live without an admin side file manager. This installs nicely and works, taking care of all the permission problems that arise after installing a component.

EventList
Very pleased, anxious for the Beta version., July 16, 2007

EventList I have just installed and am testing the component and module on my test site. I am very pleased and anxious to get started using this on a production site.

I find it very easy to use. It also appears very well laid out from a users point of view. I also find it very well thought out and planned.

And I also like the idea that it doesn't use a calendar. I never did like the idea of clicking on a calendar to see what is happening on a date. I much prefer this method of a list of events.

joomlaXplorer
Absolutely necessary and fundamental, January 3, 2007

joomlaXplorer This is a great tool that is so necessary and fundamental that it should be a permanent and integral part of Joomla! As a matter of fact, VirtueMart's eCommerce edition does include JoomlaXplorer in its package.

Just one caution... If your server is using PHP version 4.x, then you must use JoomlaXplorer 1.4.0 and not the 1.5.x versions.

LAC - Load Additional Content
 Very Good, December 14, 2006

LAC - Load Additional Content I just installed this module on my test site and things seem to be working fine. I like the idea but haven't really figured out how I will utilize it. It is nice to know if I do come across a need that there is a solution.

One small thing to consider... When I tested this extension I noticed that it does not render an image in the text instead it actually prints {mosimage}. Just remember not to specify content that contains the {mosimage} plugin.
