BackendIPBlocker
How to remove!, January 9, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

I installed and didn't put any ips into any allow or deny field. I published the module in the header position as instructed. I was immediately logged out of the admin area. Additionally, after login attempt, I am redirected to the public homepage.

To REMOVE:

Login to your server (shell or ftp). Locate and remove mod_backendipblocker.xml and mod_backendipblocker.php.

Login to your joomla admin page as normal. Go to your admin modules. First Unpublish. Next, uninstall the nasty little bugger. It will give you a warning that removal failed.. but it really didn't. The entry for mod_backendipblocker will be gone and you'll be back to the state you were before you installed this mess.

JoomlaStats It's great! I've used free and commercial stats scripts and services for many, many years... JoomlaStats is by far the best in every way! Easy to install, easy to activate, immediate results, attractive layout, amazing amount of information!!!!

Thank you so very much!!!

Hmmm.... Why is this extension here?, December 25, 2006

It's a wonderful idea and really easy to install. but lists code in the head tag. Nothing is tracked by google that way. Unpublish extension does not remove code. Uninstall extension does not remove code. So... I'm stuck with unwanted code in my template now???? Let me know if you know how to remove :)
