Fairly good work, but needs improvement., December 25, 2006

The skin that's supplied with this is good, and the addin that bridges this to the Joomla login is great. For a basic or small sized wiki, this is a great solution, and my thanks goes out to the developers.

However, this has some flaws, one of which is major:

1) This uses I-frames. Most professional web developers would avoid using any kind of frames where possible. In this case, it prevents users from linking to specific pages that they've browsed to: you can't copy/paste the URL into a link to link from say, your forums.

2) You can't set the content I-frame size to be dynamic compared to the content. When i was implementing it, i incorporated this feature in: setting the page height in pixels is not a desirable way to manage your layout.

3) The 'watermarks' on the top and bottom of the page are very annoying, and a way to universally remove them from our sites would be appreciated.

Although i sound grumpy, don't let me stop you from downloading this. I set it up in a matter of minutes and combined it with our current database without a hitch. It looks clean and sits well in Joomla.

To be honest though, I'll probably re-skin our wiki and use the login-bridge provided by this software, because our regular visitors like to link to pages.

Overall, great software, unless you're very, very, particular about the small things (like me).
