It just works, and it works well. No hassle. What more can I say except THANK YOU for an excellent, simple to use plugin!

After installing this plugin, some of my other plugins stopped working, like One PixelOut Player.

After I uninstalled this plugin, everything worked well again.

After a very frustrating experience with VM, I had hoped that this one would be better.

This package had a ton of stuff built-in that VM simply could not do, and it seemed, at first to be a good bridge between my favorite CMS & OSCommerce. Everything seemed to be going well, and you can even use many OSCommerce plugins as an added bonus.

But then I realized that the system could not send out emails.

I will say that the forum support is quick & excellent, and that it is possible that it may be something with my host (not sure, though). But I was not able to solve the problem. All test scripts that I tried were able to send emails, as was Joomla itself, but not this package.

I really like the package, and it had everything that I needed/wanted, but without the ability to send out emails, it is useless.

Not many people had this problem, but some did.
I tried all of the suggested fixes, but none of them worked.
I may try it again in the future, but for now, I will have to look elsewhere.

I installed the prepackaged version of Virtuemart & Joomla, and I was very excited about getting going with it. Unfortunately, my excitement soon turned to frustration and disappointment.
If you need multiple taxes, like I do in Quebec, Canada, where there is a tax on a tax, don't even bother trying VM. By law, we have to show both taxes and what was charged.
I wanted to have downloadable gift certificates. Can't do that either.
There were errors in the shipping calculations.
After seeing the Editor's Pick on this product, I was quite surprised as to the functioning (or lack thereof) of this product.
And there is almost no support in the forums.
Like I said, very disappointing.
Even though Joomla is my favorite CMS, I may go with a dedicated non-Joomla e-commerce package. I haven't been able to find a Joomla based system that works well for what I need.

Easy to install. Easy to use. Simply FTP your photos to the proper directory, and it works. Simple to add skins. One minor detail... for Some reason the first 2 characters of each gallery name would not display on the menu, so I simply added __ in front of the gallery names.

Followed instructions on installation.
Seemed simple enough.
Then a bunch of errors appeared on top of the template.
I suppose that it's possible that another bot on my site was causing problems with this one, but since it is a live site, I had no choice but to immediately remove the bot.

This plugin works as advertised. Simple. Easy. Works in Firefox and IE7. What else can I say except Thank You VERY much!

Probably one of my favorite players. Easy to set up and you can add a different photo per song if you want to.
unfortunately it doesn't show up in IE7, a browser that most people use.

Don't want to be the bad guy here, but I spent well over an hour trying to set this thing up. Most of my thumbnails were "off center" and looked really bad. I finally gave up and switched to RSGallery2. Had that one up and running in about 10 minutes without problems

I am just setting up a new site and was going through the usual looking for the right components, etc. After spending most of the day trying out various gallery addons, I decided to try RSgallery2. Wow. Fast and easy to set up. Very nice to look at. The download option is a nice touch too. I'm just sorry that I didn't try this one earlier. The component says alpha, but it works better than most other "stable" packages that I tried. I highly recommend this. Just one quick note, though, be sure to choose the thumbnail size that you want BEFORE you set up your galleries. The default is 80 which I find a little small.
