I agree with the majority of posts already here. This component solves the infamous “CANT DELETE FILE OR FOLDER FROM THE FTP BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER” bug. Although slated to be fixed in future version of Joomla this component allows you to delete those files.

It also provides you a little status bar telling you the amount of space on the hard drive your site resides on. I thought that was neat. The interface is great. The only thing I can suggest is that he place words underneath the icons so it is that much clearer which each button function is. Other than that, a solid piece of work.

After you install Joomla this should be the next item on your list.

I have used this component since version 4 and I have been very pleased with wilebils progress and continued approach to improving this product. We worked with wilebil to figure out the cause behind the shoutcasting server problem that was within serverstat. I believe we made wilebil lose many hours of sleep. He has always made a reply to my forum posts within 24 hours and sometimes he has personally logged into my site to do diagnostic tests to figure out what the problem is.

Your not going to find any other component/module combination that supports the amount of servers that this one does. It is very versatile. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get the module and component setup 100% correctly but even then at times the servers status shows offline. However this could be due to any number of reasons outside of the component.

In the end this is a solid module/component combination. I don't understand why others have complained about the support as wilebil has been there during times of need whether it be on the forums or through his IRC channel.
