Great But Somewhat Problematic, April 30, 2007
0 of 4 people find this review helpful:

My initial take on JIM was very positive. It was very easy to integrate with CB and JoomlaBoard.

Unfortunately, I now have a strange problem, and I'm unsure of how to fix it without removing/re-installing:

I created a User Menu item that points to the JIM component. It worked for a couple days, but now it says:

Connecting...

I have no idea how to fix this.

JCE
 Doesn't Work With Safari, February 10, 2007

JCE This is easily the best editor I've used for Joomla. My only gripe is that it doesn't work completely with Safari. Link/unlink doesn't function at all, and Insert Image popups are missing critical meta-data on the top of the popups.

I'm not sure if this is a JCE problem or a Safari problem (actually, it doesn't work in OmniWeb either). I use Firefox when editing my page (it works fine with JCE), but Safari is a much more elegant browser (IMHO). I'd love to be able to use it (or OmniWeb) instead.

Fixable?

 Good Show!, February 8, 2007

ProjectFork As a not-for-profit agency, we rely heavily on inexpensive resources to accomplish our mission. We continually seek out parnerships with reliable software developers and are huge supporters of the Open Source Initiative.

To this end, we are very impressed with Tobias Kuhn's Hydra Manager ! This software seamlessly integrates into our website and allows our board members to share tasks, documents and calendar events, even though they are scattered across two states! Tobias is friendly, responsive, and open to the needs of his user base. Although still in development (v0.6.1 is installed at the time of this writing), Hydra Manager promises a simple solution to our collaboration requirements. Thanks, Tobias!
