MG menu
Solves most of my issues..., September 30, 2008
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

Thank you for MG menu. It's a simple way to get simple horizontal menus - something I've been struggling with for a while (depending upon the template I was using at the time). MG Menu works right out of the box, honors access-level settings, and is pretty easily tailored through its css file.

Wish list (or maybe I just need instruction):
1) I wish it handled third-level menus as drop-downs from second-levels.
2) I wish it gave me the option to drop submenus vertically or horizontally. Now it shows subs horizontally, unless they include 3rd-levels, then it drops vertivally.
3) I wish I could control the horizontal offset for submenus from their original menu item selection.

Couloir Slideshow Gallery Ajax Module v1.0.3.2
 Looks terrific!, January 26, 2007

Couloir Slideshow Gallery Ajax Module v1.0.3.2 Very easy to install and get going - only had to learn how to display a mod in content to replace a less impressive slideshow I've been using for years. Couloir is simple to use, clean and professional looking, and certainly adds interest to my front page.

Two things I wish it had:
1) Exif support, so I could be a little more creative with captions than just file names allow.
2) Add panning - like a lightbox script I saw out there somewhere - and it would almost look like a movie!

Slick RSS
Great solution for phpGedView, too, January 24, 2007

Slick RSS From the outset, Slick RSS was the only extention that, right out of the box, gave me the info I wanted for a non-news RSS feed. Witn 1.1, even the popup description worked great. But what I'm most impressed with is that I still wanted more - the option to show that description without the pop-up - and within 24 hours of describing the need, 1.2 appeared. Now Slick is just what the doctor ordered. Thanks for a great addition, and for outstanding support and almost immediate turnaround. (Those of you wanting to show RSS blocks from phpGedView should take a look.)
