X-Banner
Wow! It actually works without issues, August 16, 2007
4 of 4 people find this review helpful:

X-Banner Superb! I spent the last week testing various banner rotations. Other modules didn't allow customization of the URL per image, they caused conflicts with other components/modules (javascript), or simply didn't work.

This module is great! It builds on the already-working Joomla banner system, and adds some pleasing effects to rotate them dynamically.

Good work, WebxSolution Ltd! I had almost given up.

EasyFAQ
Finally! A usable FAQ component!!, July 10, 2006

EasyFAQ It is rare that I get excited over a Joomla component... but this is one of those times!

I spent countless hours trying to work SimpleFAQ, XFAQ, and pondered purchasing Phil Taylor's component (sorry Phil!) I was looking for something that could list FAQs and collapse/expand with JavaScript, or better yet, AJAX. I also wanted something with WYSIWYG capabilities that weren't buggy.

I found everything I wanted in EasyFAQ!

Remember this is still Beta... but I found it very usable. (1.0 Beta 2 will fix a few minor bugs, and probably be released by the time you read this review.)

The developer (Adam) is very helpful and responds quickly in the forums.

Go get it if you're looking for the perfect (and 'Easy') FAQ component!
