Sam Gallery 0.1
 Not bad...with some tweaks., November 16, 2007

Sam Gallery 0.1 My client needed something simple and easy for her to update on her own, so I saw this component and gave it a whirl. Well, it had conflicts with the templates' JS so I just simply edited SamGallery a bit to load the templates' JS instead.

If there could be some options added to get around the conflicts or point to the templates' JS, then this would be a nice addition. Also, the named images can get confusing in admin, but I appreciate the roll-over thumbs! Overall, nice work.

Joomla SEF Patch extended version
 FINALLY!, March 8, 2007

Joomla SEF Patch extended version I tried everything! Seriously, JPromoter, free patches, hacks, .htaccess hacks....The best combination for good SEO is the Joomla SEF Patch Extended Version and OpenSEF, period! Once I configured it, I was able to add all of the URL's that were component-driven and change everything from Page titles to meta data.

The best bar none!

Jom Comment
Solid and Good Support!, February 12, 2007

Jom Comment What can I say that others haven't! ;-)

Excellent component, speedy support, good admin features, and affordable! I suggest it to all my clients!

This should be a default Joomla! extension. I highly recommend this component!

JPromoter v.2 - Joomla SEO Great Tool (SEF)
 A Must Have for Joomla 1.0x, December 23, 2006
3 of 3 people find this review helpful:

JPromoter v.2 - Joomla SEO Great Tool (SEF) Lets face it, Joomla! just doesn't have support for good SEO. The code structure just isn't well adapted for solid SEO results. So, we at Salyris Studios had to research possible solutions for this and found that OpenSEF and JPromoter are the best "base" for descent SEO results for Joomla!.

After installing and running the "analyzer", it became apparent that JPromoter was doing its job! We could then go through our pages and get most of our pages optimized via keywords and met-tags (descriptions/titles) for each page individually!

Buy it, take the time and add all the necessary meta-data for your pages and start getting better rankings!

Note: Be sure after EACH time you anlyze that you go back and re-publish the JPromoter mambot/plugin. Newer versions could fix this, but for now keep this in mind or you will wonder why it isn't working all of a sudden. ;-)

If you want SEO for Joomla! 1.x sites, then buy JPromoter today!

EZ Autos
 Clean Code, November 15, 2006

EZ Autos Where do I begin.... ;-)

I agree with the other reviews about researching other extensions, but found EZ Autos to live up to its name and boundless features.

A recent client needed a special feature installed beyond to make it a "set it and forget it" website using Nexteppe (www.Nexteppe.com) auto feeds, so we used EZ Autos as our base to get this done.

With some initial emails back and forth with Kathy Strickland, who was very helpful and quick to respond, we were given the green light to tweak her code if necessary. We are still adding features but our client is VERY pleased with the results so far: http://www.automarket1.com/

If your looking for a Auto Market script with excellent support and very clean code that doesn't touch the Joomla core, then look no further!

Big props to Kathy! ;-)
