We have more than 750 documents. Most of them PDF’s , some video. I have been using this program for 3 years.

We went with Joomla (vs Mambo) because of this component. This alone should let you know why we think this component is great.

What I would like to see in future versions (in order of need):

1. Sub directories instead of one folder. I have to prefix file names to organize them.

2. Auto conversion of word document to PDF file (I upload a word document, and it automatically converts it to PDF.

3. E-mail notification when someone does anything to a document.

Great component, strongly recommend if your looking for a repository.

I purchased this software, had no problem installing it but could not get it to work. I wrote several e-mails to Mambobrothers and they never responded. Finally, when they did they told me to contact the developer. I thought that was odd and asked them to resolve the problem. When they did not respond, I then asked for a refund. They gave it to me. Then a few days later my website was hacked. I am not sure if there was a connection. My point here is they have no support. If you like support, then do not go with this company.
