I had quite specific needs for my forms and reading from their homepage I thought Phil-a-Form would meet all. But now I have spent A LOT of time on three different form packages and Phil-a-Form did not turn out to be a better tool nor was the support any better than from GLP license packages. The specific bads that I experienced were:

Some crucial bugs that prevented proper file validation and these were not even acknowledged by support even if the bug can be repeated on the demo site
Any Updateable table must be linked to Joomla user table (as far as I understand)
Forms cannot be edited once they are bound to a table (editing the form requires deleting table and all info within)

Interface is quite nice and there are many validation rules that are working very well and you can even validate between fields (i.e. at least one of field1 or field2 must be filled or other logical expressions).
