Really easy to install and setup. Install, select position, select transition effect, publish. Job done.

The transition effects are excellent, without having to fuss too much with times for fade in fade out and so on. You have a choice of direction for transition (up, down, left, right) or fade.

If you have a number of static banners that you want to unleash some life into, this is the module for you. Try it, you'll waste hardly any time with it and will see what it can do straight off the bat.

I have used Azrul's JomComment for a fair while now, and its one of the first components I install on a new joomla install.

I was looking for a blog component for Joomla, and after checking out the rest, I opted for My Blog.

Its a quality component, integrates nicely with JomComment (worthwhile purchasing that as well, if you don't already have it) and the tags system they have is something that I'd like to see in Joomla as standard.

My only issue with it (and the reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5) is the templates that it comes with as standard need a fair bit of customisation to suit your template, especially if you use a dark template, for lighter templates, its not a problem. It was a bit of a chore editing it, and wouldn't be advised for novice users.

Overall, an excellent component, highly recomended.

I am part of a team on a site that has used Joomleague extensively, for a number of leagues over the last year or so.

Its been upgraded a few times during this period, and I have to say, the work done on this component is superb.

The problem with league software (and I've been using this league software or similar since 2004) is that it has to be able to do a number of things to suit a wide range of sports with differing teams, fixture setups, scoring methods and so on.

This means that Joomleague can come across as somewhat complicated to novice users of the software. But, some perserverance will achieve excellent results.

If you're after quick slapdash league software that doesn't bring much to the front end, look elsewhere.

If you're after something that will look great, have some excellent features (stats, prediction leagues and so on), and are willing to put a bit of effort in to produce the goods, Joomleague is the way forward.

This component ensures that the league/fixtures/stats section of your website is something to be proud of and a focal point of your website.

Personally, I can't speak highly enough of this software, and anyone that I speak to that is looking to start a sporting website, this is the first thing I recomend.

Superb module. Something that should come as standard with future Joomla installs.

Easy to setup. Easy to customise, and something that I would use for every front page of a Joomla site.

I really hope there is a 1.5 compatible version on the horizon.

Anyone that needs some review software that you want to customise to your needs within a Joomla environment, look no further.

It can be as complex or as simple as you want. Its a well supported product, with the developer being very hands on with any issues (sorting one of my issues out personally).

Highly recommended.
