Lets face it, if you are considering spending ~$100 on a joomla extension that obviously you have something to profit from it, so overall this was a good purchase. The only two other viable options are use PHPSurveyor and bridge it into Joomla or write the extension from scratch, neither of which I personally have the time/technical skill to do correctly. That said this extension is lacking some of the features of PHPSurveyor that are really attractive. The surveys it produces are very visually appealing out of the box but do lack basic configuration options (such as changing the size of the input box) however if you just need basis and you are not too fussy this will suit your needs perfectly. Installation and setup of the first survey was a breeze, there is no documentation provided, but you can easily fugue out the basis on intuition. I did not pay for additional product support but did receive what i needed from the developers in their forums, it was not quick, but more importantly it was accurate responses. Many of the desired features are said to be included in version 2 upgrade, which for their sake I hope they are not charging their existing current customers for, if so I'm sure this board will be flooded with negative reviews. Overall I thank the eLearningForce team for a stable extension that suited my basic needs and was a responsible price, I would recommend this extension to anyone who needs survey capability right now, however if someone does come out with a PHPSurveyor bridge then I would have to seriously consider switching. I will keep everyone updated on version 2 when it comes out and if we are charged for it.
