I end up updating my website sometimes multiple times a day, and needed a mailer that could let my registered guests know about it. I had no trouble installing it and setting it up. It looks great and so far has performed great as well.

This is just what I was looking for. I'm looking forward to using this component to it's fullest potential.

I have two recommendations:
1. A way that a user can "Subscribe to All", seeing as I have about 24 categories, it can be a pain to click each one.

2. Make it possible that a user can subscribe to an RSS feed you have on your website. For example, at my website I am streaming news from michaelbuble.com to a single link on the mainmenu. If it would be possible to add these articles being RSSed to be able be sent via mailer, that would rock.

I was very intrigued by this plugin to give users the ability to have their own web address forwarded to their profile page. However, after two days of trying to get it to work without receiving multiple errors:

I decided to give up. I looked and read through just about every thread on the help forum and found nothing to solve my problem. I am no newbie to Joomla! and I hope I was just missing something that was impressively simple to fix.

I am also using ARTIO JoomSEF and read on the forum that this integration was not possible and there were no plans in development to make one.

It's a great idea. If it can integrate with SEF's then there would be no reason at all to have this plugin added to the Community Builder default plugins.

I gave it 3 stars, ever though I was not able to get it to work.

I'm not going to lie, it took me a DAY to get the lightbox effect to work. I realized the problem was not even with my template! It worked after I unpublished Joomla! Works Ajax header Rotator. I am now using Joomla! Works Simple Image Rotator and it works fine.

If you are having a problem with the lightbox effect not working, try unpublishing some of your modules that use ajax or some other form of javascript.

I'm changing from JoomlaBoard to Fireboard, and will go ahead and begin to contribute to this great new community.

I will be using this on my website, and can't wait to see the response I get:-).

I use it currently for a college campus ministry, and plan to use it for a youth ministry website I am doing for my church.

I did find one small bug that was big enough to throw off my entire website layout. Here's the fix:

In prayercenter.php on line 315 it should look like this:
echo '';

not like this:
echo '';

It's just missing one div tag. Very simple fix, but it was a pain for me to find:-).

Other than that, it's awesome. If you have a earlier version of PrayerCenter, make sure you download JoomlaXPlorer and edit the prayercenter.xml file and Delete lines 52-57:


DELETE FROM #__prayercenter
DROP TABLE #__prayercenter
DELETE FROM #__prayercenter_subscribe
DROP TABLE #__prayercenter_subscribe


I ended up uninstalling an early version of PrayerCenter and accidentally deleted all my past subscribers and prayer requests.

My brother and I were in dire need of a commenting system for the website we created for a Paintball Magazine. We were looking for a free commenting system, but our server did not support GD Library, which ended up causing problems for AkoComment and J!Reactions.

We looked around and finally stumbled upon Jom Comment. After seeing the smooth AJAX features that Jom Comment used. That was enough to convince us that it was well worth the $30.00. We were also able to import all prior comments that we had posted using AkoComment and J!Reactions.

After purchasing Jom Comment, I uploaded it to the server. It loaded and installed perfectly, but the commenting system would not submit. Each time we clicked the "Submit Comment" button, the page would not load the comment.

I contacted the customer service email and got an email back within 24 hours giving me tips and walkthroughs on what the problem could be. After trying everything, they asked if they could check it out in the backend. Three days later, I the commenting system was up and working. THE PROBLEM WAS WITH MY SERVER PERMISSIONS, NOT WITH JOM COMMENT. Azrul of Jom Comment completely reconfigured Jom Comment to support our server! Almost everytime I logged into the backend, there was Jom Comment logged in as well working to get Jom Comment working.

And, as you can see at www.pb2x.com, it works flawlessly. Jom Comment was well worth the $30.00, and the customer service was free. He must have spent at least 3-5 hours working to get it working on our website(FREE OF CHARGE!), and I am extremely greatful.
