Nearly works...but not quite!, September 21, 2006 |

I thought this looked promising having read about the "merging" of two components but it didn't work properly in JSAS test mode and didn't work at all in a live situation.
The JSAS test mode showed the "loading" icon permanently and the live site wouldn't load images despite all necessary CHMOD permissions being correct.
A shame and so my year long search for a good image gallery continues.

Alberghi
A Very Good Product, May 14, 2006 |

When I first loaded Alberghi, it looked OK but I quickly found the transition from Italian to Englsih hadn't worked as well as it could. Vamba has provided excellent support to change that and now I have a very good product running on a test site.
The inclusion of multiple images is an advantage over the leading product of this type although there are a couple of little cosmetic matters that could be improved.
I haven't been able to get Alerghi working with OpenSEF RC5 yet, which is a slight drawback as is the absence of its own CSS and reliance on template CSS but I expect that Vamba is working hard to remedy these small issues.
This product is already good and is going to get even better. The leaders in this market now have a major competitor!

Infinity Search Module
As customisable as a housebrick, May 3, 2006 |

Installed as easy as can be. That's as good as it got!! Doesn't work - keeps going back to homepage and the only customisable aspect was whether to publish it or not!

Non Validating, April 4, 2006 |

Great product, although resizing of module, font etc. could be easier. Only real minus I encountered is it doesn't validate via W3C!!
