CB Superthumb
Perfect to show avatars, January 7, 2008

CB Superthumb I was looking for something that would allow CB to show random user profiles - I feel like this one is the most flexible. Highly recommend it!

RSform! - Form Management Component (J1.5 also)
Excellent Form Tool, January 4, 2008

RSform! - Form Management Component (J1.5 also) Disclaimer: I purchased this tool for $10 - apparently you can get it for free if you try it and write a review here. I'm too lazy to email and bother getting it for free, so I bought it. I like it better than facileforms or any of the other form tools out there. I've pretty much tried them all, and this one is easy to configure, easy to get up and running, and fairly flexible. It isn't quite as powerful as facileforms, but in return the setup is much easier and there is practically no learning curve. I like it, and recommend it as an excellent find at $10.

JCE
What JCE has to offer to the average user:, April 28, 2007

JCE I install JCE on every Joomla site I create.

The features I appreciate:
1) Easy image upload and file management compared to the default editor.
2) Better image options when placing it into text.
3) Easy inserting of video/flash.
4) More options for cleaning up HTML or not than the default editor.

I recommend it for sure!

Joom!Fish - multilingual content manager
Great Tool with a Mild Learning Curve, April 28, 2007

Joom!Fish - multilingual content manager This is a great component that I use to translate my site into Japanese. One thing I miss compared to multiple languages from my PHP Nuke days is having the ability to hide an article if there is no translation completely. If this feature were added, I think it would make the plugin perfect. As is, with some usage, you'll have it down in no time. Great component!

FlippingBook Joomla Gallery component
Simply put: I'm blown away., March 24, 2007

FlippingBook Joomla Gallery component This is an awesome way to add a Flash virtual book to your Joomla website. It works great and is simply a very professional component (take a look at their website - obviously these guys pay attention to detail). I think at $30 the price tag is very reasonable for the full version. I am very impressed by the functionality of this gem.

Things that could be improved:
- Easier addition of pages to books. If you have multiple books with lots of pages, it is a bit cumbersome.

ARTIO JoomSEF
Exactly What the Doctor Ordered!, March 3, 2007
3 of 3 people find this review helpful:

ARTIO JoomSEF I used this on a Joomfish enabled site with three languages. It does a beautiful job of cleaning up those *nasty* joomla links and creating beautifully formed ones. I'm not sure about other people with problems with tons of links, but I haven't had any problems at all. Everyone worked like a charm.

I love all the settings related to Joomfish. Very nicely done.

It took maybe a 1/2 hour of setup time (probably the most time trying to figure out the .htaccess file because I just blazed through without carefully reading the directions in hopes of a 5 minute setup).
