Joomla! Tools Suite: JTS-component & JTS-snapshot
Is this a good place for beta's, October 5, 2007

Joomla! Tools Suite: JTS-component & JTS-snapshot This isn't even near finished. I met the program today and was put off because what I installed wasn't finished. Sure a few options are working and IMHO give a false sense of security by the overload off information. I think any real problems reported would drown in the information that shows what is ok. Just too much.
Example: the check list for write permission of a file becomes humongous. It would be so much better to report only dangerous files until a check box points out the user wants everything.
Besides I'm not to sure if it is good practice to publicize betas in the extension directory. I can imagine that if this is becoming a trend, the directory would cease to exist pretty soon.

OpenID Plugin
 doesn't do much, July 9, 2007

OpenID Plugin I guess the install notes are not very extensive. But for sure they are not enough. This bot simply sit's doing nothing.

 Awfull, March 16, 2007

Just had an awful experience with this here. First of all the fact that you have to add to the template is bad. Then instructing people to add a bad tag into the template is another no go. Then when I finally went googeling I found out that in fact an update is way overdue. Sorry but I had to drop this in favor of another mambot that kept what it promised.

D4J Image Extended
Jup my choise, March 16, 2007

D4J Image Extended Just had an encounter with LightTumb that has a serious attitude problem. Dropped it in favor of this baby. Does exactly what it advertises. Think registering is a minus. But a was real glad that I didn't have to rewrite my own popup script. It's smooth, no extra additions to your template's, aligns well. Think it misses just one gadget. A popup launch from a link. For the rest. This is what you want.

Joom!Fish - multilingual content manager
Piece off cacke, March 10, 2007

Joom!Fish - multilingual content manager This plug in is really all you need. If you have any experience running software like Joomla, you will be amazed how easily this integrates and manages your language content. IMHO it's a charm.

BlastChat - free chat for your website
 guest account, March 9, 2007

BlastChat - free chat for your website The mere fact that I have to enable the chat applet in a public menu withholds me from even trying. Running a closed club site I'm not able to comply. Pitty though seems like a real nice program.
