Absolutely love it! Needs one thing..., August 3, 2006

myContent This is an awesome extension, however it doesn't provide an option to delete from the frontend. If you have a ton of members constantly posting content items, and some become irrelevent there is no way for members to delete from the frontend, making it a hassle on administrators.

 Love it!, April 25, 2006

Its great in all aspects!

Email doesnt work 100% for me, but that is only because gmail limits email size to 10mb.

Also, in FireFox, when creating a backup it often times out and tries to have me download index2.php

I just run in IE Tab to solve that.

5/5

Good from some aspects, April 11, 2006

Well, everything was great and worked just fine. I really like SMF, however i ran into some problems with the mambo integration package. After I uploaded it, everything worked and the login was great, however I forgot to "apply" the package in the SMF backend. Once I did this, the bridged login didnt work. I couldn't get to SMF admin without logging in (which was impossible), and being new to SMF had no idea what I needed to delete or modify to disable the package. I will probably end up using this bridge after I test it again (in a subdirectory this time), and I reccomend not applying the SMF Mambo integration package. The component (for mambo/joomla) is wonderful though. There were some problems with the CSS and some SMF templates, and editting the style.css didn't have any effect.

3/5... good for people who are fluent in CSS (i found the babylon template didn't conflict with my Joomla template, so just mess around with it!)

Not that great, April 10, 2006

Well, I didn't try to click a user name like the others said, but that was the least of my problems.

There were huge conflicts between the styles of joomla and phpBB, and I'm sure it would've been fine if I had it outside of my Joomla site, but thats not what I wanted.

I also didn't like that once this is installed you can't add users through the joomla user manager, and new users could only be made through the signup form. (User rights and info can be changed however)

I really liked the admin, but there were some things that were missing, such as easily setting up moderators, and the group system was horrible.

I'm going to try some other forum software with joomla, but I won't use this one.
