You can do a lot with this module. A couple of suggestions I have for the developer:

Adding the ability to link a greeting to a picture would be nice.

I had to edit the module's php to remove the punctuation. In other words, by default, the module displays "Good Morning." If you want it to display "Good Morning!" and don't edit out the . in the php file, you wind up with "Good Morning!." I think you're best off making the end user worry about correct punctuation and not adding it in your php code. As a user below said, it may be that you want to add a question based on the time of day, e.g. a restaurant "Have you tried our breakfast platter?" instead of "Good morning."

It's a fantastic start and a great idea for personalizing the user's interaction. Thanks for creating this module.

Thanks so much for this module. It makes it really easy to install Google Analytics without having to edit every last template. Works perfect!

I love it when stuff just works, and this does. It's an excellent feature set and should really be included in Joomla core.

I have two suggested improvements. First, it would be great if tab fixed height was configurable in the Administrator backend. Second, it would have saved me a little confusion and time if the documentation had suggested adding "ul.tabbernav, ul.tabbernav li {background: none;}" to template css if list items otherwise feature custom bullets. Other than that, no complaints. Awesome plugin and thank you for sharing it with the community!

Excellent module, the UTF-8 support is what really attracted me. It was easy to configure, integrates smoothly into site layouts, and users report that they really like it. About the only enhancement I can think of is support for non-compliant (Microsoft-based aspx/Word cut and paste) newsfeeds, where special characters mess with encoding.

Easy to configure. Output is slim and elegant, which makes it a very versatile module you can place in a variety of locations. Only complaint I have is that MSN data isn't xhtml valid, but that's Bill Gates' fault, not the developer. Great job!
