Master Password Plugin
 OMG, May 8, 2008

Master Password Plugin I can't believe something this useful exists. Although it's a simple idea, this is infinitely useful to a site admin.

Thanks for the excellent plugin!

mfDropCaps
 Works ok..., April 21, 2008

mfDropCaps if you're not using jquery elsewhere. This plugin hoses modal boxes when enabled.

Would be great otherwise.

SE Keywords 1.0.1 (now supports Baidu.com)
 Great module, April 10, 2008

SE Keywords 1.0.1 (now supports Baidu.com) Very well made, easily customizable. Works great in J1.0 but no J1.5 download available.

Simplest Forum
Worth looking at, November 1, 2007

Simplest Forum If you're in the market for a no-frills forum, this might be a little less component than you need.

This component has categories, and messages. And you can't admin the messages. The display can be customized with about 20 lines of css (in my hands) and can be configured to look pretty good. I don't mind the list items so much as I don't like that you have only two levels of display in the message.

I'm looking at extending this component externally.

eXtplorer
Not bad, working native J1.5!, October 31, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

eXtplorer To get the component working in J1.5:

Rename extplorer.xml to something else
copy extplorer_J1.5.xml to extplorer.xml
edit extplorer.xml and remove any reference to .htaccess or .htuser

zip it back up and install to J1.5

J!Dump
 As Advertised, October 30, 2007

J!Dump Easy install! The application seems to work as described, but I don't understand the admin component. no output!

It is as easy as adding to any script. Add the previous to your template as a simple test.

RokSlideshow
 FREAKING AWESOME!, October 30, 2007

RokSlideshow This module couldn't be any easier to use. The features make any use of this module a real pleasure. It just works, and well!

My only request would be the ability to include two (multiples) within a page, which seems to really break this module.

Otherwise, a great tool!

Attachments for content articles
 Very Slick!, October 28, 2007

Attachments for content articles Works as advertised! Front and Back end attachments. Auto-publish feature. Only problem, where to edit legal file types? I'll find it in there. Otherwise, a beta very near RC I'd say.

Phoca Gallery with Slideshow
 Almost great!, October 26, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

Phoca Gallery with Slideshow First of all, this is a great component with excellent menu support and a good set of options. I have two issues with the gallery.

1. The title is displayed only with the thumbnail. This would be a great option for the modal or popup.

2. The modal window (which I don't use because of the IE thing) is always max-height on the screen. Adjustable? Less than max even slightly would be nice. Part of the frame is hidden if I've got firefox searchbar open.

Joomla! Library Manager
not as advertised, October 25, 2007

Sure, it lists what is already installed, and provides functionality to remove installed items. There is no facility to install new libraries though.

Blocklist component
would be nice..., June 6, 2007

Blocklist component if there were some instructions. Single IP addresses work fine, but there isn't any documentation on how to block a range.....so into the code I go...
