mXcomment v1.0.9
 Highly Recommend!, November 8, 2007
0 of 1 people find this review helpful:

mXcomment v1.0.9 This is a very nice system. I have some purchased comment systems that I used but wanted to see if anything else new was available.

After checking out the DEMO I wanted to give this application a test run and it works great! It also has lots of nice features.

The only CON is that after install and publishing, it wants to put articles in all side of your site. To fix you will need to go to each module you've custom created (which I don't understand why) and turn off mambots.

Once that's done your good to go. Great work team!

Turtus SOBI2 SEO Plugin for ARTIO JoomSEF
Crashed Joomla Links, September 27, 2007

I installed this and the confirmation screen was full of ?????????????????????. It seemed that it installed correctly though. After continuing the site lost all content and links. I had to remove the plugin to get everything back. I would recommend the creator to look into this and for others to be cautious.

Google Video Bar 1.5.1 This is a great addition to any site that wants more video data on their site. I use it on a local portal site to pull in local videos related to my town and it works great! I would recommend to anyone.

Joomlashack Flexible Login Module
 Perfect, July 17, 2007

Joomlashack Flexible Login Module This is the best login module I have found without having to customize the core login. It works right the first time and only took a couple minutes to look over the documentation to setup. A+ guys!

FlexContent
Does what it says and does it well., May 20, 2007
1 of 1 people find this review helpful:

FlexContent I was looking for a "simple" solution to pull in YouTube videos for one of my review sites. I knew I wanted to archive the video references. By doing so I wanted to use Joomlas default article system and find a module to pull in X articles intros.

Well after a few hours of playing around with others this one nailed it. It does it to the point and with ease. Some of the previous ones I tested had waaaaaay too many fields to edit and the end result was not pleasing for my needs.

Keep up the great work!

RokSlideshow
Great Gallery Module, April 6, 2007
3 of 3 people find this review helpful:

RokSlideshow This is one of those modules that are just great to have for any site. It was simple and easy to setup/use. Everything is laid out nicely.

My only suggestion for future versions is to have Height be able to take "auto" and have it resize pictures accordingly. Some of my images are vertical which looks a little odd since I'm forced to use fixed W and H. Also maybe add the ability to have the module link off to a page when clicked.

I would recommend this to everyone who wants to add some simple and quick effects to their site.

Faves
 Great Addition!, December 12, 2006

Faves I spent a lot of time looking for a mod that had all of these faves bundled together and finally found it. It works just as it says.

Thanks a ton!

AutoArticles 3000
Does what it says, November 28, 2006

AutoArticles 3000 This component interested me for one reason and that was pulling in articles with ease. I have played with others and the worked OK but this one has a nice layout and even though it can't be customized just yet it does a good job of filling gaps on sites that need content now.

I would recommend giving it a try if you're just starting out and need content.

AdsManager: Classified Ads
Nice and Growing Classifieds, November 28, 2006

AdsManager: Classified Ads Easy to install, setup and use. Can be customized by the CSS file to match your site. Few minor details to be ironed out but this is the best one I have found to use so far. Give it a try!

I am still not sure how I never found this until now. After installation I was amazed at how simple and well written the configuration and output of the component is.

All in all it took about 5 min to setup and looks professional in both the front and backend which is something you don't see often. I would recommend this to anyone!

Jombackup daily mysql backup bot
 Perfect, November 16, 2006

It does what it says and does it well.

JCE
 Great editor, November 16, 2006
4 of 4 people find this review helpful:

JCE So far I have this as my default editor on all sites and love it. Well laid out and easy to use. It saves a lot of production time.

Only thing I noticed and this may be fixed by now or I just don't have something set correctly is that empty tables get stripped out for some reason. But that is a MINOR problem so overall this is the editor to use if you're thinking about giving it a try!

Jom Comment
 Great!, November 16, 2006

Jom Comment I was looking for an easy solution and after trying some of the free ones I found most to not function or at least not well. Then I found this one and after looking it over for a few min I had no problems paying the low price, installing and now using it with 0 problems for me so far.

Great job and as many others have said Great Component!

Acajoom News
 The Best, August 27, 2006

Acajoom News I have tried several if not all other newsletter coms and this is by far the most professional one I have seen. It's built with the USER in mind. It has a wizard that walks you through the process and is soooo simple yet soooo powerful.

As stated by another user, this is how all components should be writen.

Keep up the great work team!
