This is SO useful as there's otherwise no way whatsoever to easily find or sort unpublished items in the back end without having to sift through hundreds of content items looking for the little icon which denotes "unpublished". With this module, you can now see at a glance which items are unpublished.

I agree it would be nice to be able to choose permission levels though although it's not too important to us.

It would also be nice if the page which the link in the module leads to would lead to the section and category it's in, with all the modules on the page, instead of to a page with nothing but the content item in it.

Unfortunately it doesn't work properly... at least not with the latest version of Nice Talk (don't know if it worked with earlier versions).

This is a pity as Nice Talk lacks a much needed "Latest Posts" module.

This would be great and extremely useful if it didn't produce a single immensely long page which then takes an eternity to load due to it's sheer size. There's no means either of emptying the list, other than perhaps regularly going to the database itself and emptying the table - that is, if one has access to the database to be able to do so, which not everybody has.

If the above could somehow be fixed in some way, plus have an additional feature to not include certain IP numbers or search bots, it would be worth using for those who need to trace users.

I recently had to modify a template's module positions and create new ones, and didn't have a clue on how to. This extension both taught me how and made it so easy to do what I needed. I'd looked at other similar extensions and none offered what this one does.

This is a fantastic editor, particularly the image manager in the new version 3. The new image manager allows you to do things that Joomla's own media manager doesn't - such as moving images from one folder to another, and copying from one folder to another. Additionally, there's a document manager and a media manager.

You can create custom toolbars, or use the default one whilst removing buttons you don't want.

Another nice new feature in V.3 is the ability to drag the editing box and make it larger.

Importantly too, support is first class.

I can only echo all the positive things that have already been said about this component, whilst emphasising that support is superb with replies within hours not days. It's definitely worth the money.

Basically, this component would be exactly what we're looking for. But I'm experiencing some problems such as not being able to save configurations in the back end, and submitting ads in the front end show up as blank.

The problem is that the developer appears to have gone awol and hasn't been seen on the support forums since August 7 of this year. So, answers to those such as mine aren't being solved as there's no support person around who can help.

This is a huge shame as I can't therefore use AdsManager if I can't save the configurations for it and if it's no longer going to be developed further... :-(

This sounds like an excellent idea. But unfortunately for me, it didn't work. That may be because I'm using the WysiwygPro editor which has its own feature for opening links in different targets, but sets links to open by default in the same window.

What a shame... if it worked with the WysiwygPro editor, it would still help speed things up by not having to do make the extra clicks in the editor to open links in a new window.

I've tried all the similar extensions and this one does exactly what I want with great ease. Display News BK had too many complicated parameters for me to do almost the same thing. Mini FrontPage is tidy looking, has its own CSS which is very useful, and support on their forums is super fast and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this module. In a way, I wish it was a component rather than a module, to totally replace the main front page component.

Very handy if you have lots of components but only want to access certain ones regularly without having to go through a long list of components to find the one you want.
