Events Calendar
 Works with 1.5??, October 5, 2007

Events Calendar If you are looking for an easy event calander that works in J1.5 look futher. This is not it.

There are to many bugs in EC 1.4.2 and 1.4.3 to make it work nicely in joomla 1.5. I would recommend that they erase the '1.5 compatible logo' because it is not compatible yet.

Letterman Newsletter Component
What do we do...., July 26, 2006

Letterman Newsletter Component Okay I've used letterman for a while now and my main concern are the visual aspects of the component.

The biggest problem is the list of newsletters. There is absolutely nothing you can configer. You can't decide which fields are shown and which fields are not show. I don't want my users to see how hits a newsletter has, and i want to use the Joomla! default pagenavigation (and weather its enabled or not).
Then you have the Subscribe above the newsletter list... Alle and all, its not to default on the layout so, that means hacking it yourself.

Futhermore registration and Subscribe /Unsubscribe is very slow. If your server does not send mail, a javaerror will tell you that but the Letterman message is that the user is registered.

So it needs some tweaking and some work.
