EasyFAQ
Plagued with problems, October 30, 2007

EasyFAQ I could not get this component to work at all. Numerous Xajax conflicts on the frontend and XML errors on the backend. Developer offers no useful solutions in forum and the suggested updates process from Easy FAQ dashboard doesn't fix the problem. Big waste of time.

I'm disappointed by this as the product looks good on the demo. I truly don't understand why this extension has received such great reviews here. Maybe those people have simple websites without Ajax mambots running or they are friends of the developer.

Not many other options out there in the FAQ category, so I guess I'll have to pay big bucks to get one custom coded.

Jobline
 Don't waste your time, October 22, 2007

Jobline Product does not work "out of the box" and requires code hacking. It installed fine, backend administrator allows you to add job classified ads, but nothing shows up on the front end. We kept getting fatal error messages every time my users tried to view a job posting.

I made numerous attempts to seek tech support from the developer via email and forum, but got no help. Was unable to even register at the JX Development website because of a system glitch at their site. Very frustrating.

It appears that this Jobline project is dead, it hasn't been updated in a long time, and the developer no longer provides support. I even offered to make a hefty donation (pay money for support) but received no response.
