DFContact with Captcha-Support
If you need more than one contact, don't try, September 27, 2008

DFContact with Captcha-Support Looking for captcha support for my contact, and tried this component. The output (CSS) is fairly unflattering and unconfigurable, and allows only for one contact person. How is this any good, since many sites need multiple contact persons? I suppose for a personal blog site this may be useful, but if you are running a business, or organization, this is useless.

Acajoom News

Acajoom News Great Component, and intuative setup.
Was looking for a newsletter component for a customer, who I knew was not that intuative, and settled on Arajoom News, because of it's Setup Wizard, since I did not know the specific reasons this customer wanted the newsletter tool. I personally found it useful, but noticed that on the second step of the the Wizard, it asked to set up the Auto-respond feature, which is not available on the News version. This is confusing, since the next step should be to set up a newsletter. Since it asked for a Mailing also, which I understand it in the Pro Version, not the News version, it was also confusing. Many of my customers would not need all of the extra features of the Plus or Pro version, so I did not got that direction. If the wizard was re-written for the News version it would be great. I also had a problem (as I do with may 3rd party components) I had the livesite url wrong, and it wouldn't work for this customer until I corrected it. But overall it provides a professional newsletter with the subscription feature and unsubscribe feature built in, which is very important with email these days.
