I wrote a review further down praising this, that was until I really started to hammer it. If you have about 10 items an album it's fine, once I started getting 300 items or thereabouts it starts to go haywire, wrong thumbnails shown, bad links, in short, for me, unusable.

Some other examples, trying to edit descriptions in the admin program, I am on page 40, I edit a description, close it, and I am back at page 1, at this rate it would take me 10 years to update everything. I have installed Coppermine, while it is not native it is clearly the best. I have found nothing else that has a list view of as many items as you want with thumbnails PLUS descrption field for editing, ie you can update 25 photo descriptions at once if you want to, anyone know anything else that does this ? phill at hardstaff dot com and if you want to see Coppermine and Zoom side by side with same photos, see hardstaff dot com also.

I have always used Remository, but had some problems installing it on Joomla 1.0.8 so I decided to try this instaed, what can I say, chalk and cheese, the layout of Docman is way better than Remository, try it, for any type of file, when used with the autoloader you can have 1000's of files in your library in 5 minutes. I particulary like the mouse over information about the file, a lot of this information Remository makes you enetre manually, like file size for one.

Great work, this plus Docman leaves Remository for dead :) Thanks, your efforts appreciated.

I have just installed this with joomla 1.0.8 and it works just perfectly, no bugs, no problems, it works just great, I have used previous versions as well and have never had a problem, I also tried DatsoGallery which simply does not work :)

I highly recomend this gallery.
