Mini FrontPage
 Fantastic., October 4, 2007

Mini FrontPage There is little to say. The "free" frontpage handling tools are not easy to find, but this one is by far the best. This extension deserves to be recognized for what it is, excellent. I do hope the developer will continue to work and improve it for a good while to come.

Related Items Bot and Module XTD
Sorry, but this is not working, July 19, 2007
1 of 3 people find this review helpful:

I realize that many others have gotten this, apparently, to work. However, I have now struggled with different settings for a few hours - and, it simply does not work.

The only thing coming out of this bot is "no relating items found", which is a downright lie. Thus, it is active - but unable to find anything related, despite tons of topics on the same subjects.

How did it work so easily for the rest of you? For now, I am rating this "very poor" as I have absolutely no use of it.

JXtended Reports
 Decent, July 16, 2007

JXtended Reports It does what it's supposed to, but no more than that. I'd particularly be interested in some backend control and a way to archive articles directly from the frontend.

You can sort by created date already. Shouldn't be much work to add an option to move the tagged articles to archive? :)

mXcomment v1.0.8
Promising, but severely flawed., July 11, 2007

mXcomment v1.0.8 I normally don't take the time to write a comment, but I hope that by writing one here I will see a correction of the problems involved with this component.

I like the feel and look of it, but some central bugs need correction before I'm gonna use it.

1. The component provides a choice between displaying username or realname in an article. However, if username is chosen here, it will - regardless of the setting - show the realname instead.

2. Template problems. I use a template that offers a left side, a center and a right side. However, this component destroyed that template as much as possible. Whenever I entered the comment area it would move my right modules to a center position. Thus, this module appears to be useful only if you have a template without a right side.

3. This might be the biggest problem. I attempted different settings when posting a comment, but regardless of the settings - it did not save one single comment. So, it cannot comment. Anyone else experienced this bug? At least, I feel it is important for a comment component to provide the ability to save the comment :)

I hope you fix the errors mentioned in upcoming versions.
