JW Media Manager XTD: the Joomla! photoshop!
Looks good, but..., July 11, 2007

JW Media Manager XTD: the Joomla! photoshop! Been playing with it for a bit, and it is a pretty good extension. One problem though - the supposed lack of IE support

I say "supposed" because this component does in fact work in IE! If you comment out the NOIE section (admin.jwmmxtd.php, lines 570 to 579 and line 690) the actual functionality of a lot of the editing pieces work just fine in IE7. What doesn't work in IE7 is the fluff like reflections and the lightbox functionality. I would rather have functionality in all browsers than the fluff.

And what is seriously ironic is they include mootools, whose main purpose is to provide a cross-platform (including IE) JS library. Actually, looking a bit more into it, both the lightbox and reflection functionality are using scripts freely available from http://www.digitalia.be, and both of which work fine in IE7. So that makes me assume that they purposefully removed the IE functionality to make a statement.
