AJAX Header Rotator for flash-like image rotation!
Clean & tidy with good support, October 2, 2006

AJAX Header Rotator for flash-like image rotation! just installed the latest version of this module (1.1) but as an inexperienced user of Joomla I didn't know how to apply it to the banner of my site (as my banner is not in a module position). Posted my query on the Joomla forum and got a lightning fast reply from one of the developers who provided me with a step by step guide on how to do it.
Now it does exactly what I want it to do exactly where I want it to do it!
thanks guys - 5/5

Perrys Guest Book
 Thanks Perry, July 27, 2006

Perrys Guest Book I've just installed your guestbook and it looks like a nice simple component which is just what I'm looking for.
Is it possible to disable the 'required email' field as this is the only part of it I don't really like - not everyone is happy to submit their email address to websites. Other than that it seems really nice.
Thanks

PhotoShow Updated V1.1.0
Nice and simple!, May 8, 2006

PhotoShow Updated V1.1.0 I'm a complete newbie to all this CMS stuff and have had some trouble trying to install other galleries but this was great - really straightforward to install and set up. It's pretty basic, but for me it's a good little add-on to start me off.

On the down side, you need to place it fairly near the top of the page otherwise everytime you click on one of the buttons, you automatically go to the top of the page which can be a bit annoying. Also, I don't like the fact that when the cursor moves over the picture, the slideshow stops and you have to restart it again.

Having said all that, I don't want to sound too critical because on the whole I think it's quite good. 4 out of 5 from me!
