Worked right out of the box, supports non-english UTF-8 characters, LOTS of configuration options, what else ?

The only gallery component (among other listed here) that worked out-of-box.
It took me about 5 minutes to get neat-looking gallery running.

The only problem arised was that one of the images was 1.8 mB and so the plugin generated error messages. I guess that it should't be too difficult to check for image size and skip oversized ones.

I've been using this package for a while and everything was perfect, however after a few changes to my computer - installed and removed software, added few more disk drives - it won't mount the virtual drive properly and wont run apache. I'm certain that it's my own fault yet inability to find the cause of the problem made me to look for a different solution, maybe installing and configuring all servers from the scratch.

I've tested 5 or 6 other components and found this one to be most bug-free and feature-rich. Also i liked that it's possible to remove any IP from statistic calculations with just one click.
Only hope authors would release an update sometime soon - 145 days without one it's a bit too long ...
