mtwMigrator
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tool, September 20, 2008

mtwMigrator I thought it was about time I upgraded my site to 1.5 but I was terrified of migrating all my data. This tool worked like a charm and saved me HOURS of time. It literally takes minutes. Thanks!!!

JoomlaPack - AJAX powered backup and restore
Better than EXCELLENT!, July 17, 2007

WOWEEE!! I love this component. Smooth as glass. I didn't have the host information for the old site, so I installed this component, made my backup, uploaded the zip file to the new host and unzipped it. Created a new/empty database and changed the configuration file to reflect that db info. Entered the installation folder, clicked through the install and was done in 45 minutes total. Next time it will take me 30 minutes because I know what I'm doing now.
Thank you so much, you've helped me today and will help me many times in the future.
Regards,
Montano

Ravenswood Joomla Server
Excellent for Design Development, April 3, 2007

I love this tool and use it to develop templates prior to my clients seeing them live. No more uploading my pages just to test them. I modify my template inside Ravenswood's template folder save and simply refresh the web browser. Saves TONS of time.
