I agree that the clicking on the tag should search on the keywords only (not the other articles without those set keywords)

Also had to change all instances of rel='category tag' to rel='tag' to be technorati-friendly.

That said, I think this is the cleanest & easiest to use tag-generating bot available at the moment.

This extension was "just right" for me. I didn't want to combine my Joomla & SMF db into one db. I needed them separate (for maintenance purposes). And I needed something which was simple, and will make upgrading easy.

I've installed numerous components in my site, & this is one of the most streamlined. No need to do any hacks or modifications on SMF or Joomla. Just install the component. It's as simple as that -- really.

There are two people who make this component worthwhile -- Orstio & Kindred. It's highly unusual for an opensource project to receive this much attention & support from the developers themselves. They even take the time to answer the most newbie questions. All hope is not lost in opensource afterall.

This component is great, as soon as you get over the installation. It has a more complicated installation process than the other available commenting systems, but it was worth it.

Make sure that you also install com_security, if you're using captcha. And, take the time to configure the administrative settings (because the default installation isn't really pretty.) Understand the administration, and soon you'll be able to configure it to your liking.

Very much recommended to those who are still running previous versions of AkoComment.

Very easy to install -- I was able to intergate Gallery2 with my Joomla installation in approximately 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this to those who are interested in integrating Gallery2.
