MovableType XML-RPC Plugin
Great idea, poorly documented, May 20, 2008

MovableType XML-RPC Plugin I also wanted to use the blogging feature of Flock to post to my website that uses Joomla 1.0.13 but unfortunately try as I might I was unable to get it to work.

I was also frustrated by the lack of documentation. From what I understand the extension .zip file comes with 2 files, one of which you have to manually unzip on your server, the other you have to install as a mambot. Unfortunately it didn't say so anywhere I could find.

 Brilliant Stuff, September 9, 2007

sh404SEF This extension does just what I wanted it to do, my only regret so far is that it doesn't seem to work with jEvents but I'm hopeful that it will be rectified soon.

I was quite excited by the concept of this component when I first came across it. However, having tried to set up 2 sub-sites since yesterday, I am not utterly disappointed.

To begin with, there is hardly any documentation, which of course doesn't help. Then there seems to be a huge problem whereby corresponding tables for subsites are not created. Every time I try changing settings for a subsite the system yells at me that the table in which it tried copying the data does not exist (and the error message doesn't even have escaped quotes...)

To top it up there is a function in the JMS Admin submenu called "Resynchronise JMS Databases". This essentially removes all references to the subsites from the SITE_jms table and so from the admin panel as well. In other words, what is the point?

I tried finding information on the project page but the forum isn't working (or maybe just not existing).

I appreciate this is in the alpha stage but based on others' experience I was expecting something that would do what it says. It doesn't
